Just about every BBQ sauce brand leans into a heritage story. Many are completely fabricated in the hopes that consumers will fall for their manufactured tale. So we leaned into this category trope by poking fun at the made-up backstories. While acknowledging our own lack of any kind of authentic history that dates back to grandma’s original recipe in 1896.
